What is this service used for?

  • Troubleshooting (computer running slow, difficulty opening an email attachment, error messages, problems printing)

  • Training (using Microsoft Word to create labels, creating an email distribution group, moving pictures from your digital camera)

  • Virus and spyware issues (if your computer is heavily infected, it may have to be brought in for repair)

How does it work?

  • Fill out the form below and connect to a technician.
        NOTE:  If a technician is not available, you will be prompted to submit your information and a
                      technician will call you to schedule a future support session.

  • You will be prompted to approve the download of software

  • You allow the technician control of your desktop

  • Sit back, relax and watch your cursor move while our technician does all the work!

Safety

  • The support session can only be seen by you and the technician - it does not open your computer to anyone else on the Internet

  • Customers can choose to terminate the support session at any time

  • The installed software disappears from your computer when the support session is finished

  • The technician can not regain access to your computer without you entering a new 6-digit code.

Fees

  • $40 for the initial half hour (many problems can be resolved in a half hour)

  • $70/hour after the first half hour (billed in half hour increments)

System Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, or Server 2003 (sorry, no Macs at this time)

  • A working, broadband Internet connection (DSL, Mid-Hudson Cable, RoadRunner)
